In English there are two words ----- "take and give". There's  also a story of these two words, which i heard from my middle school English teacher.

  A millionaire fell into the water. A passer-by, who offered to rescue him, reached out one of his hand and said,: "Give me your hand!" Struggling in the water, the millionaire didn't reach out his hand.The rescuer thought for a while,then shouted,:"Please take my hand!" Immediately, the millionaire took his hand and was saved.

  Maybe it's just a funny story. But there surely are such persons who are always taking from others to make himself(herself) rich, or perhaps make himself happy, leaving others sobbing.
